Hello! I am Paige and I am excited you are here looking around! I would never call myself a blogger. I never ever planned on having a blog, but then life rarely goes how you plan it! I had so many people who wanted to see pictures of the events I was putting together and I just didn’t know how to share the pictures and details with everyone any other way. So my blog was born!
It all started out with our amazing, Uplifting Women’s Retreat. You can find out more about our Small and Simple Retreat here. As I was preparing for our retreat, I wanted it to be beautifully shabby chic! I started collecting treasures, all sorts of vintage treasures. And our retreat was beautiful! It was over the top lovely! And even though I had collected enough for our retreat I was in love, and I couldn’t stop! I couldn’t stay away from the vintage china and the milk glass. So instead of becoming a hoarder, which I wanted to do, but I started running out of room! So I started creating beautiful tiered trays, clocks, and jewelry from my vintage treasures. And then everyone started asking me how I did it and where they could get them. So I opened the Etsy shop, to share my creations with you. Each time I package one up, and send it off, it makes me a little sad because I love each one so much. But I also love sending them to someone who I know will love them just as much as I do.
So that explains the retreat, and the Etsy shop so where does the event planning come in? Well, I fell a little too in love with some of my treasures, and I just couldn’t bare to part with them. So instead, I plan beautiful parties and events and offer my lovely treasures for others to enjoy. From birthday parties, baby showers, receptions, photo shoots etc I love to help create amazing events! I have beautiful backdrops, center pieces, and buntings, that go beautifully with our vintage china and milk glass! And it isn’t all shabby chic! I love to work with any and all styles! A few summers ago I had a booth at a Vintage Market. I had more people than I could count comment on my display tables and backdrops, they all wanted to purchase them! Instead, I had to explain that I use them for our event planning. It started with my sister-in-laws wedding reception and has just grown from there.
